Monitor Township family members heard the sounds of a front window shattering Monday while at home, according to the Bay County Sheriff's Office.
Soon, the family discovered a deer roaming through the house.
When deputies arrived, they found the deer in a bedroom. An image of the deer standing on the bed was shared by the sheriff's office.
"Unusual B&E suspect" was the title of the Facebook post.
To escort the deer from the bedroom to the front door, the deputies closed the rest of the house's rooms.
Neither the deer nor the deputies were injured, and the family opted not to press charges.
