Phil Nevin, Los Angeles Angels manager, had never been ejected twice in the same game. Up until Wednesday.

During Wednesday's ninth inning with the score tied at 2, first base umpire Will Little called Trout out on a full-count checked swing, leaving two runners on base.

After leaving the Angels dugout, Nevin yelled at Little and pointed at him. Plate umpire Lance Barksdale threw him out again after he continued past the foul line to approach Little.

"Just letting you know," Nevin told Barksdale, "I've already been tossed."

"I'm sorry," the umpire responded, according to Nevin.

From short right field, Nevin told Little his thoughts.
